Things are moving along!

Finally things are moving forward and getting closer to them getting this marriage done, inshallah. I am really excited and nervous all at the same time.  Not nervous about the marriage but nervous about how we are going to tell his family.  His sister already knew beforehand that we were considering him taking another wife.  His mom may not be thrilled at first but she will come around and give her blessings.  This is her personality. He shocks her sometimes at first but then the shock wears off and she normally agrees with him and respects his decisions.
We brought up the issue months ago in front of her and she asked me, "And your okay with this?" I of course told her, "Yes".  She knows that polygamy is a permission given in the Quran and also a beautiful sunnah if done correctly.

Anyhow, as to the commentors of my last post. Nothing wrong happens to us Americans when we go to Egypt.  I love the middle east.  Sure it can't compare to the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia or any other conservative country like that but I see alot less filth and immoral sins going on than I did in the states.  I am not saying there isn't sin and corruption, cuz for sure their is. But alot less than most non middle east countries.

Anyhow, back to my husband.  He is so wonderfully sweet. He is always surprising me and different things. Bringing me cards, flowers, and such.  But the other night he took me shopping for EID and was letting me get whatever I wanted. So when I was done we got in the car and he reached in the back seat and pulled out this present.. He said he stopped and got it before he came home to me.  It was a beautiful ring!... Masha'Allah!

He is so sweet. I love him so much. Allah has really blessed me wonderfully!

Well that is all for now.

Assalamu alaikom
